Highway A1 Milan - Rome southbound exit Firenze Impruneta.

At the exit take on your right the motorway Firenze - Siena.

Continue in Siena direction and exit at Monteriggioni.

After covering the exit ramp, at the roundabout take the first exit, in direction of Colle di Val d'Elsa.

Continue for about 1 km of this road and then, you will see, on your left, a sign for Strove and Badia a Isola, take this road.

Drive through the village of Badia Isola, and after 1.5 km you can see Castel Pietraio on your left. (Up to this point we abandon the paved road).

Following the row of cypress trees on the left up to the castle, you will find the parking area, where you can stop your car.

Walk over the chain and follow the signs reception.

At the exit take the road n ° 326 for Siena.

Near Siena continue in Florence direction and exit at Monteriggioni.
